High Pressure Reading

High pressure usually indicates a dirty cartridge, restricted return line, or partially closed valve.

  1. Turn off the pump.
  2. Release pressure using the air-relief valve.
  3. Remove and clean the filter cartridge.
  4. Check that all return valves are fully open.
  5. Inspect the return line and jets for restrictions.

If pressure remains high after cleaning, inspect the cartridge for damage or replace it.
