My pressure gauge suddenly became high after normal operation My pressure has been high since installation or first startup Water flow from the return jets is weaker than normal The filter tank pressure is high, but water still seems to flow normally The pressure increases shortly after I clean the cartridge None of the above
Water flow from the return jets is weaker than normal The water looks cloudy or dirty I recently cleaned or replaced the cartridge The pressure gradually increased over several days The pressure suddenly spiked overnight My issue isn't listed
- Turn off the pump.
- Remove the filter lid and take out the cartridge.
- Rinse the cartridge thoroughly with a garden hose between each pleat.
- If heavily soiled, soak the cartridge in a filter cleaning solution according to the product instructions.
- Rinse again and reinstall the cartridge.
- Reinstall the lid, making sure the O-ring is clean and properly seated.
- Turn the pump back on and check the pressure gauge.
- Confirm the normal operating return valves are fully open.
- Inspect visible return jets for debris or obstruction.
- Check whether any recently adjusted valve is restricting flow.
- Restart the system and observe pressure and return flow.
- Turn the pump off.
- Safely relieve all filter pressure.
- Check whether the gauge needle returns freely to zero.
- Inspect the gauge for visible damage or a stuck needle.
- Replace a faulty gauge with the correct compatible part.
Return flow also seems weaker than expected Water flow looks normal but the gauge reads high I'm not sure
