How to Clean a Clarus CF50 Filter Cartridge

Cleaning the CF50 Filter Cartridge

1. Turn off the pump and disconnect power.
2. Release pressure using the air-relief valve.
3. Open the housing and remove the cartridge.
4. Rinse between the cartridge pleats using a garden hose.
5. Inspect the cartridge for cracks, damage, or deformation.
6. Reinstall the cartridge and securely close the housing.

Clean the cartridge every one to two weeks, or whenever water flow decreases or filter pressure increases noticeably.
